L.A. Animal Services takes in more than 50,000 animals every year. Our goal is to help the city shelters increase adoptions and save as many lives as possible.

In January 2012, we opened L.A. Love & Leashes, the first pet store that is 100% dedicated to helping the amazing dogs and cats waiting for homes at our city's six animal shelters. Located in the Westside Pavilion mall, L.A. Love & Leashes provides a high-traffic adoption venue for cats and dogs brought to the store daily for adoption from our city shelters. L.A. Love & Leashes also sells pet supplies, toys and treats. Donations, along with proceeds from merchandise sales, keep the store open. We hope that L.A.
